Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Holistic Therapist in Illinois and North Carolina
Research suggests that Holistic Therapy helps improve overall mental well-being and works well with traditional therapy approaches such as DBT and Mindfulness Based CBT. This type of therapy can offer benefits for anxiety, depression, stress, cognitive function, relationships, communication, compulsive disorders, loss, and trauma.
What is Holistic Therapy?
Holistic Therapy is an evidence-based treatment that incorporates traditional and alternative techniques. These techniques would help to gain a better understanding of your mental, emotional, physical and, at times, spiritual needs. These techniques can help you manage symptoms and increase your ability to cope and gain improvement in self-worth.
The overall therapy approach and framework is built on the foundation of cultivating strengths, accountability, and an authentic and collaborative connection. An integrative blend of therapeutic strategies focusing on achieving symptom relief, practice of mindful self-awareness, checking in with the mind-body connection and recognizing the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The purpose is about identifying self-sabotage and creating an intention of making step by step sustainable changes. Finding Freedom Holistic Therapy supports the discussion of topics that support social justice, diversity, inclusion, multi-cultural perspectives, religion, and spirituality.
